Monday 2nd February - walks * – Around Felixstowe – cloudy with drizzle.

I had one eye on windsurf foil but after having a drive down to Felixstowe Ferry to take some TV weather pics it was gloomy and cold, then the drizzle arrived and I knocked that idea on the head! It is becoming increasingly hard to take a pic on a dull day with a different slant but I got a few OK pics, I was surprised to see loads of yellow iris’s in bloom in Gosford Way so stopped to get a couple of shots, nice to find something to brighten the day! Home to warm up, sort out my pics over breakfast, I then helped Mag make a fish pie and some soup by peeling aload of vegetables before doing my exercises. Then after a bowl of delicious spicy parsnip soup we went on a walk, quite late around three! We needed a few things from the town then strolled down past Harvest House to the prom, unluckly we haed the chilly east breeze on our back. Then through the Spa gardens and home for a cuppa, then had a nice phone call from our son! I was chuffed to get one of my Ferry pics on BBC’s Look East from a new presenter, a Kaye Forster, nice start to the new month!
